Join us for a fun paved trail ride! We will meet at the East Public Parking Area on Founders Drive N of the Manchester Community College campus in Manchester CT. There is easy trail access from the East Parking lot.
Wheels roll at 10 a.m., sharp.
The Charter Oak Greenway is a paved trail that travels East-West. It is an interesting trail with many meandering twists and up and down sections. Our ride will be an out and back from MCC to the Bolton Notch State Park covering about 17 miles. There is a 0.5 mile gap that is “on roads” with plenty of shoulder for riding. Also, we will pass through Charter Oak Park in Manchester where there are restrooms. This will be an easy pace that will keep everyone together. Lunch after, location TBD.
