THE COTSWALDS IN CT. Meet at the Topsmead Welcome Center, Buell Rd, Litchfield, on Saturday, Oct. 11 at noon. Channel your inner Brit with a tweed jacket or waxed coat, quintessential flat cap and walking stick and join us for a fun day of hiking, viewing English gardens and touring a Tudor style cottage right out of the Cotswalds. Activities include a longer or shorter hike, walking the gardens, house tour and/or just sitting on the veranda and enjoying the view.
Apres and entertainment (acknowledgement of most authentic Brit hiking gear, party favors, annual Poetry Slam - use your imagination!) at the home of Lorie Bernard and Keith Benson. Hotdogs, hamburgers and vegetarian entree provided. Apps, side and desserts requested. BYOBeverages and a chair.
